  • Overview

    Supports the team by taking the lead on administrative tasks.

    Includes the following and any other duties as assigned 


    Leasing Support

    • Assembles Future Resident folders
    • Maintains inventory of leasing collateral; makes recommendations for supply replenishment 
    • Assembles welcome folders
    • Completes Comp Survey
    • Updates LRO comps
    • Conducts Weekly Inspections 
    • Assists in moving leads through SlopeJet
    • Assists in responding to general leasing inquiries 
    • Assists with receiving and entering Notice of Intent to Vacate forms
    • Schedules pre-move-out and move-out inspections
    • Greets future residents waiting to be toured. Completes a warm transfer to the appropriate personnel 
    • Assists with prospect correspondence 
    • Schedules Appointments

    Customer Service/Resident Retention 

    • Maintains a positive customer service attitude, as well as a professional and friendly atmosphere in the leasing office
    • Optimize community presentation, to include refreshments, background music, tour route, etc.
    • Physically inspects community when on grounds; picks up litter and reports any service needs 
    • Inspects models and market ready vacancies daily to ensure cleanliness
    • Assists in answering incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel 
    • Participates in resident retention and renewal programs


    • Maintains awareness of local market conditions and trends
    • Assists with Craigslist postings
    • Markets community/residential portal

    Bookkeeping Support

    • Assists in tracking and managing DCHA HAP contract correspondence (i.e. Notices of Interim Recertification, Deadlines to Execute, etc.)
    • Assists with keeping the DC Voucher resident spreadsheet current and accurate
    • Assists in generating and delivering correspondence (late letters, notice of returned payment, HAP contract responsibility forms, etc.)
    • Assists bookkeeper with posting late fees for DC Voucher recipients

    • Strong organizational skills with a superior attention to detail
    • Familiarity with Fair Housing law is preferred
    • At least 1 year of experience working in a fast-pace, customer service environment.
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree is desirable.
    • Basic computer skills, proficiency in MS Office
    • Exemplary communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to interact with others in a team environment.
