The position will be a Financial Analyst position within JBG’s Residential Asset Management group. At JBG SMITH, the Residential Asset Management group is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maximize the value of each of the residential and mixed-use (residential/retail) assets within its portfolio.
The Financial Analyst will participate in all aspects of the asset management process, which spans the entire lifecycle of residential deals from acquisition to disposition. Key responsibilities are as follows:
We are seeking candidates with 0-2 years of real estate, investments, or financial experience with exceptional academic records, superior quantitative skills and analytical abilities, advanced proficiency with Excel spreadsheets, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidates should be conscientious, self-directed and entrepreneurial with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with a variety of teams. Candidates also need to have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and must demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude.
