The Maintenance Helper will assist in the maintenance of various building systems including the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, life safety and control systems. This position may involve overtime, weekend or holiday work on a prearranged or short notice basis at the supervisor’s discretion. This position also involves exposure to extremes of temperature while working in mechanical rooms, on cooling towers or outdoors. In addition, as a vital member of the front line team of the company, the Maintenance Helper must sustain excellent tenant relations.

The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid condition, work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious place, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
